They worked fine hanging downward and look lovely! Now all the fixtures in my bathroom match and I am very pleased. No problems installing them either.
Great light fixure for my bathroom but the shades are not a vibrant white like it shows in the picture. It's more of a translucent foggy soft white. I would have liked them to be a brighter white
